Description:
The NatureHoods Education program is a free outdoor program for Kindergarten-2nd grade students in Central Oregon. The goal of the program is to build observation and questioning skills in students, and foster a connection and appreciation for the natural world. In the 1st grade program, students will make observations and play games to learn how plants and animals use their external parts to help them survive, grow, and meet their needs. Activities will allow students to design a solution to a human problem by mimicking plants and animals.
