Our Impact
Since 2011 when we embarked on the ambitious journey of reaching all children in Central Oregon, NatureConnect Central Oregon has engaged both traditional and non-traditional partners to connect children with nature. Ten years later, we are proud to share that our collaborative efforts have had a significant positive impact on Central Oregon’s youth, providing more experiences than ever to learn, play, and explore outdoors. By working together, we prioritize equity, identify gaps, bring additional funding and resources to our region, and raise overall community awareness of the critical link between time spent in nature and better health.
