Green Jobs Program

What?
Outdoor and environmental internships for youth who want to give back to their community. 10 internships are available – learn about the positions here. The organizations who are hosting interns were selected because of their ability to provide a personalized learning experience and for their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Who?
High school students between the ages 15-18 are eligible. The goal of the program is to connect youth of color to the green sector, but all youth are eligible to participate.
When?
Application deadline: April 30
Group Interview (mandatory): May 7 at 6:00-7:30pm
Program dates: June 17-August 28
Wages?
Earn $17.50-$18.50/hour, depending on experience, plus a $300 program completion bonus.
How to Apply
- Review the position descriptions below.
- Complete the program application here by April 30. The application will open on April 1.
- Group interviews will occur on Thursday, May 7 from 5:30-7:30pm
- Job placements will be made by May 15. Returning participants have priority placement. We strive to place interns into one of the top 3 choices (selected at the end of the group interview).
