Board of Directors

NatureConnect Central Oregon is recruiting community members to join our Board of Directors.  NCCO’s Board is comprised of at least 7 members and our goal is for the Board to reflect the communities that we serve, as well as our constituency of partners.  The Board of Directors strives to include:

  • geographic representation across Central Oregon
  • racial and ethnic diversity
  • representation from other underrepresented groups in the outdoors including LGBTQIA+ members, members with disabilities, and/or members across a range of socioeconomic statuses 
  • experience across formal and nonformal education, conservation, health, recreation, and non-profit management
  • a range of ages and experience with the outdoors
