Join the Children’s Forest Partners for a series of outdoor learning and environmental education programs, just for homeschool students. Meet other homeschool families and introduce your children to Central Oregon ecosystems through educational experiences outdoors.
This program is geared for homeschooled youth aged 8 to 13 years old (approximately 3rd through 8th grade) to use critical thinking skills and inquiry based learning to bring science to life. Participants will learn all about pressure and air flow, including examining how scientific concepts such as Bernoulli’s Principle applies in real life and taking on a STEAM Challenge to incorporate their new knowledge into their design solutions.

PROGRAM HOURS: 10 am – 12 pm
PROGRAM HOURS: $10/youth participant
WHAT TO BRING:
Youth should come with a desire to learn! All materials for activities will be provided.
SPACE IS LIMITED:
There will be a maximum of 24 participants in this program to ensure that all youth have the opportunity to add their ideas. Adults and younger siblings are welcome to attend. However, content and priority for materials will be given to participants in the targeted age range.
