Outdoor and Environmental Internships – Summer 2023

About the Program

The Green Jobs Summer Program will place high school youth into summer internships with outdoor and environmental organizations. We are looking for diverse students who are interested in green careers and want to give back to their community. The job hosts listed were selected because of their ability to provide a personalized learning experience and their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Eligibility

Interns must be between the ages of 15-18 and enrolled in high school. Youth who graduated in spring 2023 are also eligible to participate.

Wages and Program Dates

Interns will earn $17/hour or $18/hour if they have experience, plus a $300 program completion bonus. Internships will occur from June 26-August 25, with a group orientation during the week of June 19.
