Every Childhood Deserves Nature

Introducing the Youth Nature Access Fund

A lot of our work happens before a child ever steps onto a trail. A teacher calls because the class has a field trip opportunity but no way to pay for the bus. A family needs help covering summer camp. One of our partners has the staff and the program ready, but not enough funding for all the children waiting to participate. These gaps can look small from the outside. But take care of one, and a whole experience opens up for a child.

This year, we’ve developed something new with seven of our outdoor education partners: the Youth Nature Access Fund. We’ve worked together for years, but this is the first time we’ve created one shared fund to help cover the costs that keep coming up across our programs and communities. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by October 2026, then put it toward transportation, field-trip fees, camp scholarships, and community mini-grants during the coming school year and summer. If you believe every childhood deserves nature, we’d love to have you with us.
