Virtual Explorations
The partners of the Children’s Forest of Central Oregon have teamed up to offer Central Oregon Virtual Explorations, which transforms field trips and outdoor learning into the virtual space.

Virtual NatureHoods Program
The Children’s Forest’s NatureHoods program has been adapted into a virtual experience for the 2020-2021 school year. This is a free program available to Kindergarten to 2nd grade classes in Central Oregon, with a unique theme for each grade level. Project SNOW
Discover Your Forest has adapted their popular snowshoe field trip to a three part virtual program exploring snow’s impact on life and land in Central Oregon. Squirrels: Introduction to Habitat Investigations
High Desert Museum is offering a two part series focused on how scientists study habitat and make decisions about wildlife conservation. This program is for 2nd graders and includes both live virtual instruction and supplemental activities. Invasive Species
The Environmental Center is offering a two part series focused on plant adaptations, invasive plants, and stewardship. This program is for 3rd graders from Title I schools and includes both live virtual instruction and supplemental activities. Healthy Stream Explorations
Upper Deschutes Watershed Council is offering a 1-3 part series focused on watersheds, riparian areas, and investigating stream health.
